So A Very Potter Sequel came out the other day. I've been watching it. It's awoken my inner Harry Potter nerd, who likes to lay dormant for months at a time and then suddenly come exploding out, bursting with fanon and ill-advised fanfiction ideas. I never got into fandom, though, because I read enough Fandom_Wank to know HP fans be crazy, and loud about it. (Oh hai Snapefen and shippers of most stripes!) It's worse, because AVPS features Lupin, who I've loved since forever (although in this incarnation he's kind of a foul-mouthed bad influence, which makes me laugh).

Does anyone on my Flist like Harry Potter also? (Here I answer myself, "Lol no, Elly, or else maybe some of them might READ your weirdo Dylan-inspired fanfic. Or at least they probably don't ship as crackily as you do, you nutcase.") I'd say reasonably sane fans should start a comm in which we are cool and reasonably sane together, but I know better than that. This is Harry Potter; everything turns to the crazy side after a while.

BUT because I'm in this semi-nostalgic geek mood, enjoy some of my wacky headcanon.
( A whole lot of this is Marauder-era thought on musical preference, because I'm a loser. )
